The Lady Doth Protest Too Much, Me ThinksAs Sir Ian McKellen traverses the country with the Royal Shakespeare Company in repertory with King Lear and The Seagull, he's to be forgiven for occasionally wanting to grab a bite to eat with the locals.
Currently in Minneapolis at the Guthrie, McKellan tried getting into the restaurant next door only to be turned away. Seems the staff at Spoonriver had not a clue who he was -- that, despite the restaurant's online claim that it "complements its artistic neighbor." Apparently, it doesn't compliment its artistic neighbors at all.
