Where's Oscar The Cat When We REALLY Need Him?

Where's Oscar The Cat When We REALLY Need Him?

According to Variety, Andrew Lloyd Webber has inked a deal with the William Morris Agency in hopes of shepherding yet another reality television series in search of a new theatrical star. As I was saying...

...where is his legendary cat, anyway? Couldn't Oscar have taken kitty litterties with the contract and spared us all?

No matter what you say, Mr. Lloyd Webber, reality TV casting does not make theatre "cool."

This is Steve On Broadway (SOB).

The cat you speak of died. Nice of you to be so heartless in this time of mourning.

(And by "time of mourning", I mean, who is going to destroy the Phantom 2 score now?)

Gil - I thought all good cats (and I think given Oscar's notoriety, he was indeed a good cat) had nine lives. I guess I should then sing a Jellicles Song for this now Angellical cat.

Well someone should get ALW another large litter of kittens and let them have at the P2 score and any mailing he receives from WM.......you know some cats like to hide things so even if they didn't litterize and just hid the score time and time again ALW might get the hint......can't you hear him now "I'm getting too old to keep starting this score over again, you bad pussy you!"

Speaking of William Morris, all this talk makes me wonder what the late great Morris the Cat would have thought...
