Curtains Set to Rise on Curtains Tonight in LA
At long last, after a gestation period of many years, the latest and sadly last musical collaboration between John Kander and Fred Ebb -- Curtains -- opens tonight at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. The musical murder mystery, with book by Rupert Holmes and choreography by Rob Ashford, includes such names as David Hyde Pierce, Debra Monk, Jason Danieley, Karen Ziemba, Edward Hibbert and Noah Racey.
What will the critics think? I'll be taking note tomorrow, as well as providing my own review of the tuner.
