Everything I Know About Frankenstein...

Everything I Know About Frankenstein...

...I learned from reading this morning's edition of Everything I Know I Learned From Musicals.

Chris Caggiano went, so I don't have to.

This is Steve On Broadway (SOB).

The score, IMHO, is also AWFUL. I happen to own the concept recording and it sounds like 9th rate Andrew Lloyd Webber. By all accounts, this show is a howler. One person titled his review" Dracula or How I learned to love Frank Wildhorn"...

Even if the score sounded like 1st rate ALW or Boublil-Schoenberg, why can't producers understand that the age of the grandiose pop opera is over. And allow me to be the first to predict that ALW's planned Phantom sequel (tentatively titled "Phantom in Manhattan") will be a big FLOP.
